Our Tuesday, Youth Shop, program has ended for the season. We will be running the program again next year so check back for updates. Until the end of our regular season (sometime around New Year), youth are encouraged to come on Saturdays 11am-4pm.
Women and Trans night has been moved to Mondays 6pm-9pm!!!
We will be closing the shop from August 23rd through the 30th. However, Adult Shop will still be held from 6-9pm on August 28th. We will be heading down to Columbus, OH to attend Bike!Bike! International. This is an annual international conference of non-profit bike collectives, DIY repair shops, and other bike advocacy projects networking and workshopping ways to make our communities better and make transportation by bicycles easier, safer, and more fun!
Worcester Earn A Bike will not be holding shop hours this Friday or Saturday, July 4th and 5th. Please have a safe and wonderful fourth of July weekend! We will open again starting July 8th for Youth Shop hours.
Through a generous donation from Breakstone, White and Gluck, PC, during this year’s Kids Bike Sale, Worcester Earn-A-Bike will be giving out free children’s bicycle helmets. Breakstone, White and Gluck is committed to Bicycle safety throughout Massachusetts, especially reducing injuries to children. Through community programs over 1,000 helmets were donated to children in 2013. For more information please check out there website here!
We’ll be holding our 4th annual Kids Bike Sale, Sat. May 31st from Noon – 4pm at the WEAB shop! All children’s bikes (up to age 10) will be on sale for $5! Also, through the generous support of Breakstone, White and Gluck, PC, we will be giving out FREE kids bicycle helmets. Note: Helmets will be given out to any child in need, whether purchasing a bike or not. See you there!
To make sure we have enough time to get ready for our party, we will be closing at 2pm instead of 4pm. Sorry for any inconvenience! Come to the party!
Do you have really legible handwriting? Are you really excellent with setting up tables and chairs? Do your cleaning abilities usually “WOW” all of your friends? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, we want you! If you answered “no”, we’d still love to have you!
Come on by during our abridged open shop hours on Saturday 5/10 from 11am-2pm or at 4pm to help with setting up and making our shop shine! Help cleaning up after the party would be oh so lovely too!
Not only will you earn some serious appreciation from the shop managers, but you can also earn hours towards earning a bike! Just show up at 4 King street during those times for some good party-prep fun!

We’re back in business at 4 King Street! Please note that we are no longer operating out of 34 Cambridge Street. Our website will show the change in location soon. We have new hours too! Note that we now have separate shop time dedicated for youth and also shop time dedicated to folks who are 18+. Women and Trans Night is still an option for folks who identify as women or trans. There is also shop time just for volunteering so we can focus all of our attention on volunteering together, with less distraction from personal projects.
