We are a non-profit community bicycle shop dedicated to teaching people bicycle maintenance while enabling them to earn a bike from our inventory of donated bicycles.
Our mission is to promote and carry out education programs to facilitate bicycle use, repair and rehabilitation for the improved health and well-being of the community, to teach fun, affordable bike repair to neighborhood youth and community members by providing tools, instruction, and repairable bikes and parts. We encourage bike riding as an empowering, economical, and healthy alternative to car culture.
We have open shop hours a few Saturdays in August! Come stop by: Saturday August 6th @ The Village, 4 King Street from 10am to 2pm; Saturday August 6th @ The REC’s Farmers Market, University Park from 9am; to Noon Saturday August 20th @ The Village, 4 King Street from 10am to 2pm;
Worcester Earn-a-Bike is holding open shop hours again! We are hosting adult shop hours at our new location, 4 Knowlton Ave, Worcester, on Tuesday nights from 6-9pm starting on May 10th. We are now at The Village, 4 King Street, Worcester on Thursday from 6-9pm. If you are interested in learning about bike repair or volunteering please reach out. We are looking for volunteers for all kinds of roles. No Bike Mechanic Skills Necessary!
